mintupdate: when Update Manager has done it’s job successfully, the disk stops rumbling and the window just vanishes… it looks like it crashed. A pop-up ‘Your System Is Now Up To Date’ for ten seconds would be nice.

mintlocale: * Number/Dates/Currency Settings – i live in Dubai after installation, it will give me an english system with numbers, dates and currencies in arabic, which i used to be able to change into english from the ‘regional formats’ tab of ‘language support’. mate: When printing something, print queue icon appears in the ‘notification area’ as expected. But then… The print queue icon gets ‘stuck’ in the notification area and becomes totally unresponsive (i.e., useless). Left or right clicks using the mouse yeild no result. Killing the ‘/usr/bin/python /usr/share/system-config-printer/scp-dbus-service.py’ process is the only way I’ve figured to get rid of the printer icon.
